Based (with permission) on the original award-winning photograph by Peggy Coleman, "Shazaam," this Green Heron spreads its wings to maintain its balance after nabbing a tiny fish from the river below.
I drew the original with alcohol ink markers, fineliner and gel inks, and this is faithfully reproduced on 5x7" card stock, and sent in reasonably waterproofed packaging with an envelope.
